The Saint Louis Weather Club (STLWC) is a student-led organization founded in 2024, inspired by the total solar eclipse that brought the region together and sparked a deeper interest in atmospheric science. What began as a shared moment of curiosity quickly grew into an initiative focused on weather awareness, forecasting, and public communication.

Our mission is to inform the public through accurate forecasts, real-time updates, and accessible weather education. We aim to make complex meteorological concepts easier to understand while helping our community stay prepared for changing and potentially hazardous conditions.

STLWC operates independently and is driven by students who are passionate about meteorology, technology, and public service. We produce outlooks, track severe weather, and share timely information across digital platforms to reach as many people as possible.

As we continue to grow, our goal is to expand our coverage, improve our forecasting tools, and build a stronger connection between weather science and the community we serve.
